There was a fall festival in Servian today. We had a home day because parking was going to be a nightmare since the festival was in the centre of the village and down the main road, and one parking lot was used for tables and a bouncy castle. It was from 4:00-9:00pm. We hit it right at 4pm and were lucky to toodle around before it got crazy busy. The kids had their face painted, Max was a tiger and Shelby had this butterfly  image on the one side of her face.

The kids were given 10Euros to spend and that went towards face painting, candy and a waffle like Wanna Waffle from home. There were local wineries and crafters set up selling their work. We bought some stuff, a scarf and touque for Shelby and some other small things. There was also a lady making deep fried escargots, the kids were not interested and sadly Justin has a cold and has lost his sense of taste so he didn’t try it out either.

We headed back out for a bit after dinner to walk around some more, the village was very pretty all lit up for the festival and streamers were hanging in the square.
